MASAI MARA [BY ROAD or AIR]

Day 01 :: Arrive in Nairobi //..

Arrive in Nairobi. After clearing through custom and immigration, our waiting Jacko Team shall meet and greet you, then transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure. If your flight arrived in the morning, this evening we enjoy our Welcome Dinner at The Nyama Choma Ranch Restaurant in at Safari Park Hotel.

Day 02 :: Discover Masai Mara //..

After breakfast depart for Kenya’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. You start the day venturing down the escarpment into the Great Rift Valley traveling to Kenya’s richest wildlife game reserve – the Masai Mara. The Mara is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch depart for an afternoon game-viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. Meal Plan {B, L, D}.

Day 03 :: Explore Masai Mara //..

Wake up for an early morning breakfast, then embark on a full morning game-viewing drive to return for lunch. Experience the friendly atmosphere where the Masai community live in harmony with wild game. After lunch visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (off the beaten track) and experience the culture of this world-famous community. The Maasai still live as they did centuries ago – Interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions. For any left-over time, continue with afternoon game-viewing drive as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Tonight, enjoy a traditional African Bush Dinner under the African Stars, accompanied by a concluding traditional Masai Dance. Any award ceremonies can be incorporated into tonight’s activities. Optional: Today, you will have an opportunity to enjoy a Hot Air Balloon Flight over the Masai Mara. From a bird’s eye view the plains take on a whole new perspective. Upon landing an “Out of Africa” style champagne breakfast awaits you.

Day 04 :: Masai Mara – Nairobi //..

Leisurely breakfast at the lodge, then departure for Nairobi either by road or by air. Drop off at your Nairobi Hotel. Enjoy lunch and afternoon leisure, either in your reserved day room, or outside by the pool till we transfer you to the airport for your onward international flight. Meal Plan {B, L}

TSAVO WEST & AMBOSELI [BY ROAD or AIR]

Day 1 :: From Nairobi or From Mombasa – Tsavo West //..

We depart Nairobi or Mombasa for Kenya’s oldest and largest park – Tsavo West National Park. Lunch at our destination, and in the afternoon we do an introductory game drive in this vast national park. The Tsavo National Park is the largest of all national parks in Kenya and has over 7000 elephants. Tsavo West National Park covers approximately 30% of Kenya’s area under parks, and contains a diversity of habitats, wildlife and a scenic mountainous landscape. Day 2 :: Explore Tsavo West National Park //..

After breakfast, today we explore this vast park on a full morning game drive. This game drive shall end up with a chance to visit the Mzima Springs famous for aquatic lives; hippos, crocodiles, crab and fish. Lunch back to our lodge or tented camp. After lunch, we depart for Amboseli driving across the Shatani Lava Plains. Amboseli is reached before sunset with a chance to observe it before nightfall. Dinner and overnight at your lodge, or tented camp. Meal Plan {B, L, D}

Day 3 :: Explore Amboseli National Park //..

An early morning game drive, then return to our lodge for full breakfast. Amboseli National Park is dominated by snow‐capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Although its peak is often shrouded in clouds, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it during your stay. After breakfast a visit to an authentic Masai Village (off the beaten track) can be embarked on for those interested. Lunch at our lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, we do our last game-drive. Day 04 :: Amboseli – Nairobi or Mombasa //..

Breakfast at the lodge, then departure for Nairobi or Mombasa either by road or by air. Drop off at your Nairobi or Mombasa Hotel. Enjoy lunch and afternoon leisure, either in your reserved day room, or outside by the pool till we transfer you to the airport for your onward international flight. Meal Plan {B, L}

SAMBURU [BY ROAD or AIR]

Day 01: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy //..

After breakfast, we depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Landscape changes to lush as we climb into the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu People. Stopover at the Equator Crossing Point near Nanyuki Town, where a demonstration will be conducted to prove the Equator Line. Lunch at our lodge or tented camp. Afternoon game drive in the conservancy. The beautiful Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a privately owned 100,000-acre ranch with magnificent views across the wildlife-studded plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Dinner and overnight at our lodge or tented camp.

Day 02: Explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Samburu National Reserve //..

After breakfast, we embark on a morning game-drive of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, including a chance to visit the Jane Goodhall – Sponsored Rescued Chimpanzees, and explore more in search of the BIG FIVE. We return to our lodge for lunch. After lunch, we depart for Samburu – a scenic drive northward.

Samburu has its own unique exotic feel! Prominent mountain ranges, rocky outcrops, thicket, Doum Palm Trees and Riverine Forest – a scene for “SURVIVOR 3”. Washroom stop possibly in Isiolo Town We enjoy an en route game drive to our lodge or tented camp overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. Dinner and overnight at our lodge or tented camp. Day 03: Explore Samburu National Reserve //..

Today we will see more spectacular wildlife on two exciting game drives; morning and evening game drives in this scenic reserve. The game drives will introduce us to the unique animal and bird species of the Northern Hemisphere – notably Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, etc. During any of the game drives, we may visit an authentic Samburu Village to learn about their way of life. Day 04:  Samburu N. Reserve – Nairobi //..
