He holds a Master’s Degree in Management, Business & Economics from Aachen University, and boasts over 28 years of distinguished service as a Tour Leader, Manager, Director, and Operator. His extensive work with premier tour companies in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda has shaped his unrivaled knowledge of captivating destinations throughout the region.

Since founding JACKO AFRICA SAFARIS LIMITED in June 2006, Jackson has passionately channeled his proven expertise into promoting memorable travel experiences. With a career that commenced in 1996, he is intimately acquainted with every breathtaking corner of East & Southern Africa. Known for his warm and engaging personality, Jackson is not only a well-traveled professional but also a masterful communicator, fluent in English, German, and Spanish, alongside Kiswahili and his native language.

Kennedy O. Wanyama – Operations Director

Upon completing his primary, secondary, and A-Level education in Western Kenya, he moved to the vibrant city of Nairobi, fueled by a deep passion for wildlife. He took a significant step in his journey by enrolling at Kenya Utalii College, where he earned a Diploma in Tour Operations Techniques.

In 1996, Kennedy embarked on his professional journey as a Customer Relations Officer with Universal Safari Tours Limited. His career flourished as he transitioned to other prestigious tour operators in Nairobi, dedicating ten years to the role of Operations Manager. During this time, he expertly managed fully independent travelers (FITs), small and large incentives groups, earning a reputation for his exceptional costing and negotiating skills.

As a seasoned veteran in the travel industry, Kennedy co-founded JACKO AFRICA SAFARIS LIMITED, driven by renewed enthusiasm to establish the company as one of the most sought-after tour operators in East Africa. His ambition to create affordable unforgettable experiences for travelers truly reflects his passion for the region and its remarkable wildlife.
