CAPE TOWN – KAPAMA GAME  RESERVE – JOHANNES’BURG [BY ROAD and AIR]

Many of South Africa’s cultures have their roots in an ancient world, whilst some of the cultures are relatively new – and others are a fascinating mix of both.

Day 01:: Arrive Cape Town //..

Arrive Cape Town International airport. Meet Jacko Africa Safaris representative and transfer to the hotel situated near the entrance to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax. Overnight: The Cullinan Hotel/Sea Point Cape or similar. Meal Plan {D,B&B}.

Day 02:: Cape Town – Cape Peninsula Tour //..

Today enjoy the scenic drive along the Atlantic Coastline, to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This exciting tour takes in all the important sights of the Cape Peninsula in one full day. Overnight: The Cullinan Hotel/Sea Point Cape or similar. Meal Plan {B, L,D}.

Day 03:: Cape Town – Cape Winelands Tour //..

Depart for the full-day experience of the famous Cape Wineland with its historic homesteads, sprawling vineyards and the quaint tree-lined village streets. Your tour begins with a drive to Paarl, offering historical charm, culture, architectural heritage, wine and fruit farms and breathtaking scenery. Continue along the Berg River valley to the picturesque town of Franschhoek have the opportunity of walking through the quaint village. Next stop is at the historic University town of Stellenbosch, the oldest town in the country after Cape Town and is one of the most scenic and historically-preserved towns in southern Africa. During the course of day there will be ample opportunity to taste some of the magnificent wines produced in this region. Lunch and late afternoon return to Cape Town. Day 04:: Cape Town – Cape Town City Tour, Optional Table Mountain Tour //..

08h30 Transfer to the cableway station for an optional ascent of Table Mountain by aerial cable car (weather permitting). From here the tour takes you back for sightseeing tour of the city which includes places of interests such as South Africa Museum, the Gardens and the Malay Quarter. Visit the Castle before driving returning to the Waterfront. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city, spend time at the V&A Waterfront – South Africa’s foremost tourist and shopping attraction, take the ferry to Robben Island, enjoy the beachfront or just relax. Overnight: The Cullinan Hotel/Sea Point Cape or similar.  Meal Plan {B, L,D}.

Day 05:: Cape Town –  Kapama Private Game Reserve //..

After breakfast you will meet your guide at the hotel lobby for your transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight Hoedspruit Airport. On arrival at Hoedspruit you will be met by a driver from Kapama Private Game Reserve and transfer by road to Kapama River Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in open safari vehicles – the reserve supports great numbers and varieties of amphibians, reptiles, birds and 147 mammal species including the Big 5. Dinner and overnight: Kapama River Lodge. Meal Plan – {B, L,D}.

Day 06:: Kapama Private Game Reserve //..

Morning and afternoon game drives with time in between to relax. Romantic Sleep out – nothing can top the experience of sleeping with your loved one on a high platform deep in the African bush, on a bed of white linen surrounded by lanterns and billowing mosquito netting. A luxurious bathroom with flush toilet is below you. Accommodation and meals: Kapama River Lodge. Meal Plan {B, L,D}.

Day 07:: Kapama  Game Reserve – Johannesburg //..

After the morning game drive and breakfast, there is time to freshen up before transferring to Kruger Mpumalanga International airport for the flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel situated in exclusive suburbs of Sandton. Accommodation:  Southern Sun Grayston or similar. Meal Plan {L,D}.

Day 8:: Johannesburg and Depart //..

Spend a full day in Johannesburg with optional excursions. Transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your onward flight connections. Meal Plan {B}. End of Safari.
