ARUSHA – NGORONGORO – OLDUVAI GORGE – SERENGETI – ZANZIBAR [BY ROAD & AIR]

DAY 1:: Arusha Ngorongoro Crater //..

Today you depart Arusha in the early afternoon and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for two nights. You will stay at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. From its prominent position on the rim of the Crater.

DAY 2 :: Explore Ngorongoro Crater //..

Today on your safari will be spent exploring the Ngorongoro Crater on a game drive. Home to an abundance of wildlife, the Crater is a favored spot for wildlife due to the permanent water and grassland on the Crater floor. Lunch will be at the Crater floor. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan {B, L, D}.

DAY 3 :: Olduvai Gorge & Serengeti National Park //..

After breakfast you drive via Olduvai Gorge en route to the Serengeti. At Olduvai Gorge, you can view the archaeological fossil fragments believed to be the ancestors of current day man. You will arrive at your lodge in the Serengeti in time for lunch and spend the next two nights at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. The days will be spent exploring the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives.

DAY 4 :: Serengeti National Park //..

Waking up to the fresh African morning air and beautiful sunrise, breakfast will be served and a morning game drive will follow. After lunch, proceed on an afternoon game drive. Chances of seeing the “Big Five” are very good – the open plains of the Serengeti allow panoramic views that stretch to the horizon.

DAY 5 :: Serengeti National Park-Lake Manyara //..

After breakfast you depart for Lake Manyara and enjoy a game drive after lunch. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree climbing lions as well as being a paradise for almost 380 species of birds. You will spend the day here game viewing and relaxing. Overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel/Serena Hotel. Meal Plan {B, L, D}

DAY 6 :: Stone Town, Zanzibar //..

After breakfast you depart from Lake Manyara for a transfer to Arusha, where you will enjoy lunch before embarking a regional flight to Zanzibar. In Zanzibar, your first night will be spent in Stone Town, with an opportunity to explore this historic & cultural town. You will stay at Zanzibar Serena Inn. Meal Plan {Bed and Breakfast}.

DAY 7 :: Zanzibar Beach //..

Today you will be transferred to Breezes Beach Club where you will stay for the next 3 nights on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. This is the perfect end to a safari as you relax and laze away the days on the white sandy beaches or in the turquoise waters. We believe that Breezes Beach Club is the ideal retreat. This beautiful hotel has a romantic charm with special surprises during your stay.

DAY 8 :: Zanzibar //..

Wake up to the morning sun, have breakfast and spend the day on the beach or swim in the sea. Your days at Breezes will seem like a fantasy as you live the island paradise dream. Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner}.

DAY 9 :: Zanzibar //..

The shores of Zanzibar host some of the world’s most splendid coral reefs making diving here one of the biggest attractions. The underwater marine life is a world of its own and you will want to spend hours exploring its surroundings. Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner}.

DAY 10 :: Day of Departure //..

This morning you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward travel arrangements. Meal Plan {B}
